When is Warehouse Relocation right for you?

Warehouse relocation requires separate planning for inventory flow, pallet sequence, and shelving handling to avoid congestion at the new warehouse's receiving area. We move general cargo according to inventory batches verified by the client; inventory discrepancies, shelving structural safety, and warehouse management system migration are handled by the relevant responsible parties.

01

Operational teams needing to relocate inventory based on SKU, batch, or shipping priority.

02

Warehouses needing to divert boxed goods, palletized cargo, and loose items for moving.

03

Enterprises preparing to change warehouse locations and reconfigure receiving, storage, and picking areas.

Service process

Warehouse Relocation process

01

Freeze inventory

Warehouse to set an inventory cutoff point and provide lists of batches, pallets, and priority shipping items.

02

Define waves

Arrange loading/unloading sequence for each wave based on available zones in the new warehouse, cargo type, and turnover requirements.

03

Pallet handover

Verify external labels, quantities, and condition batch by batch, then record transport by trip.

04

Sequential storage

Offload first to designated storage slots or staging areas, completing handover after warehouse confirmation.

What affects your quote?

What affects your quote?

Inventory units

The ratio of pallets, cartons, and loose items, along with total weight, determines loading methods.

Wave requirements

Urgent goods, slow-moving stock, and inventory freeze periods affect trip sequencing.

Loading/unloading facilities

Loading dock height, pallet jack routes, forklift availability, and queuing rules must all be verified.

New warehouse capacity

Available receiving areas, temporary buffer space, and shelving activation progress limit unloading speed.

Checklist

Prepare these details or photos before requesting a quote

  1. 1Complete pre-move inventory count and set inventory freeze or inbound/outbound rules.
  2. 2Label each pallet with batch, weight, new warehouse zone, and priority.
  3. 3Confirm which qualified vendor will dismantle, reassemble, and inspect the shelving.
  4. 4Reserve a receiving buffer area at the new warehouse and keep fire exits clear.
  5. 5Arrange for supervisors at both warehouses to sign off on each vehicle and address discrepancies.

Shelving and stacking safety cannot be omitted

Shelving must be unloaded before being handled by qualified personnel; pallets must also have declared weights and stable packaging; no fire exits may be used for temporary storage.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Can shipments continue as usual during the move?

The warehouse can design zonal or wave operations, but whether shipments can be maintained depends on inventory, system, and site arrangements; we do not guarantee zero operational disruption.

Can shelving be moved with goods still on it?

No. Loaded shelving cannot be moved as a standard object. Cargo must be safely unloaded first, and shelving dismantling/reassembly and structural inspection are the responsibility of a suitable professional contractor.

How are inventory count discrepancies handled?

Pre-move and post-arrival inventory counts are verified by the client's warehouse representatives; we will assist in tracing relevant trips and labels based on handover records.
